Tanya Altmann is an experienced CEO with P&L responsibility in broader industry areas like Utilities, Transportation, material handling, renewables, automotive, and others.  
After completing a degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Tanya joined Airbus Military in the A400M program, holding several roles during her close to 5 year tenure, before shifting to the Railway Industry. At Alstom Transportation she served as a Senior Project Manager on various national and international projects.

In 2016 she accepted an Executive role at GE Power Conversion in leading the Service and Project Management for Central and East Europe, and Russia Regions (CEER), and in 2017 she was appointed the CEO for Germany & CEER.

Tanya’s solid experience from Operations, Transformation and Change Management as well as her strong strategic analytical skills enables her to provide invaluable leadership towards the Future Mobility and Smart Mobility projects.

Fernando Val

Fernando Val is a Spanish national, with a background of in excess of 30 years in the mobility world. He has been part of leadership teams in the low cost airline business in Europe and the Middle East.  Initially Val held the role as COO for Vueling, in a front-line role successfully building a profitable growth from 0 to 110 airplanes.

Following Vueling, Val became the Group COO of Air Arabia, transforming the Group’s operations into one of the most efficient in the region. He continued his career in United Arab Emirates as CEO of GANS, the national ATC service provider,  and as a senior advisor for Boston Consulting Group in the Middle East.


Today, he serves as the Group CEO in one of the top 10 shipping companies in Europe. Val is an Spanish Air Force College graduate with post graduate studies at Harvard Business School and IESE. He has more than 9.000 hours of flying, and many of them on the Airbus A-320.

He is a proud father of two millennials, when not at work, he enjoys hiking with his family and friends at the Pyrenees.

A Supply Chain Director with more than 15 years’ experience managing global Teams to achieve world class results in Inventory Management, Transportation Sourcing, Distribution, strategic Business Development and Logistics. 


The first 7 years’ of Phil’s career were spent leading privately-held companies to achieving their supply chain goals and growing their business to serve multi-national clients on international projects.  These companies served the Power Generation, Mining, Renewable Energy and Pulp & Paper industries.


Since 2012 Phil turned his focus to Logistics, Sourcing, Distribution and forming strategic partnerships with the worlds’ largest Transportation Service Providers at companies like GE Power (Power Conversion/Portfolio), GE Aviation, Worley and held an industry vertical leadership role for Volga-Dnepr Airlines.

Alex Strogen

Alex Strogen is based in Vancouver, Washington as Chief Commercial Officer at the Port of Vancouver, USA and is responsible for planning and implementing short- and long-range maritime marketing strategies, objectives and programs to promote domestic and international trade; planning and directing the marine cargo development program; guiding industrial recruitment and customer service; and developing and maintaining relationships to promote use of the port. 

Strogen relocated to Vancouver in 2018 from Greenville, SC where he held the position as Senior Global Category Leader, being responsible for managing the global sourcing and execution of ocean transport, port operations, and marine surveyor requirements for GE Global Operations. 

Strogen has a strong international track record, having spent several years of his career being based in the United Arab Emirates, holding senior positions for companies such as ARC and APL. 


Strogen is a graduate of Texas A&M University at Galveston and holds a B.S. degree in Maritime Business. Strogen has also completed executive education programs at Kings Point Federal Maritime Academy.

Jörg Janning

Jörg Janning is the CTO Power Electronics at Wolong Electric Group, one of world's top three motor and drive manufacturers.
Janning is German, but is currently based in China.


Prior to joining Wolong, Janning spent over 7 years working for General Electric (GE) in a variety of senior positions, including CTO for Germany and CEER, Executive Leader for Global Industy Systems Engineering.

He has also spent several years working for Alstom and Daimler-Chrysler. 

At present, Janning sits as a member of the Supervisory Board for GE Germany Holding.
